This 1926 Old Town Canoe is a 15 foot canoe. It has a 30 inch front deck and a 24 inch rear deck. It has a Mahogany rub rail, seats and thwart as well as "D" shaped gunwales. The bow and stern are torpedo shaped. It was shipped to St. Louis in 1926. The canoe is possibly a one-of-a-kind. This writer stripped and re-varnished the canoe in 2017. It had new canvas put on at the time and was painted purple and white at that time. This summer I painted it again in sapphire blue below the rub rail and tan above the rub rail.
