I did a warranty claim on another HP printer (slightly different model in the 3301 family), and this is the replacement. I was told that my replacement unit would be brand new, but the box indicates that it’s refurbished.
The toner cartridges that you will purchase with this unit are the originals from the previous unit that I had. They are compatible with this MFP 3301sdw unit, and they are HP. The toner cartridges are the ones that came with the original unit that I had bought at the beginning of the year, so they do not have a lot of toner in them. The original unit was indicating that only the black toner cartridge was low, though it was still printing documents fine when I made the warranty exchange.
