This weight machine originated from the Calumet, Michigan YMCA. The building was demolished by in the 30s. It was acquired from an estate sale and has remained in a private families possession. It was professionally restored and now in like new working order. It measures 27” wide x 64” high. A great piece of local Copper Country history. Who knows by whom it was used to improve one’s physical condition by working out in the towns YMCA.
This building was once located in the now parking lot next to our National Parks Union building on 5th St.in Calumet.
