J. Artichokes to plant. Should be planted immediately. Can be cut like potatoes. Grows taller than sunflowers. Plant 1-2 feet apart. One stalk can produce a pailful. Take as much as you want for $5 or $10. They can sell for 5-10 dollars a pound. Harvest in October. Needs a grass-free bed.
