Up for sale is a fantastic player's grade, Japanese-made Burny RLC Les Paul Custom. If you know "Golden Era" MIJ guitars, you know the craftsmanship on these rivals anything coming out of the US. This one has been heavily upgraded and modified into an absolute rock machine.
The Modifications & Upgrades
Bridge Pickup: UK Handmade PAF boutique humbucker (clear, articulate, and dynamic).
Neck Pickup: DiMarzio humbucker (warm, smooth, and great for lead work).
Hardware: Upgraded with high-quality gold hardware from StewMac.
The Neck: The back of the neck has been smoothly sanded down to a satin/matte finish. If you hate sticky gloss necks, you will absolutely love the feel of this—it's incredibly fast and smooth.
Condition & Structural Notes
Neck Repair: This guitar suffered a typical Les Paul neck crack. It has been professionally repaired and glued. It is structurally rock-solid, fully stable, and holds tension perfectly, but it is visible.
Setup: The guitar has been sitting for a bit and will need a fresh setup to your preferred string gauge and action height. It currently plays, but a tweak to the truss rod and bridge will really make it shine.
Cosmetics: Typical players wear for a vintage MIJ Custom—dings, scratches, and beautifully aging binding. Frets have life, but show signs of use and age.
Electronics: Bridge volume pot is a little iffy, but functions. pots could be cleaned.
